Costs are expected to edge up, but by how much is hard to predict as we enter a year where concerns about trade restrictions and tariffs may affect food prices and, potentially, availability. Against such trends, operators need to fine-tune their businesses to bring sales up and costs down. For that, they may need funding. Luckily, investors are interested in the sector.
