The Rabobank Group is expanding into European mid-market direct lending by supporting Colesco, a new independent private credit specialist.
Colesco evolves out of Rabobank’s credit business and combines a long history of credit investing with a differentiated investment approach to deliver bespoke capital solutions, including unitranche loans, to ambitious mid-market corporates. This solution has strong client demand and was not yet part of the group’s product suite.
The platform provides institutional investors access to the growing private debt market allowing Colesco to combine and manage multiple commitments in one loan.
Colesco has an investment strategy that is in line with Rabobank’s mission to grow a better world together and it will be using the group’s network, knowledge and resources to invest institutional capital in major global transitions.
