Binding Corporate Rules
Rabobank Group's business units are also located in countries outside the European Union, where privacy regulations might be less stringent. However, if we share your data with any Rabobank Group units in which Rabobank has a controlling interest, we ensure they adhere to Rabobank’s rules as outlined in the Rabobank Privacy Code.
This Privacy Code serves as binding corporate rules (BCRs), detailing the standards all Rabobank Group units must follow. The Rabobank Privacy Code guarantee an adequate level of personal data protection, ensuring that the same rules apply across all Rabobank units, thereby allowing us to share data within the Rabobank Group.
