Global equities closed mixed yesterday as a fresh tariff threat from Donald Trump reverberated through markets. Posting on Truth Social, the President Elect said that on day 1 of his new administration he would impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on China as punishment for failures to staunch the flow of drugs and illegal immigrants into the United States.
